Introductory Class
350 AED - 1 Lesson
Give students an introduction to SAT strategies, test sections, and question types. This class will allow students to begin building a collaborative learning environment.

Step-by-Step Plan:
1. Introduction and Group Ice-Breaker
• Begin with an ice-breaker where each student shares their main goal for the SAT.
• Introduce the structure of the SAT, emphasizing that peer support and open discussion will be a key component.
2. Core SAT Strategies
• Cover time management, answer-elimination techniques, and pacing for each section.
• Conduct a quick group discussion on common SAT myths and misconceptions, using examples.
3. Collaborative Tips & Tricks
• Math: Introduce group problem-solving by assigning a sample question. Each student shares their approach.
• Reading and Writing: Demonstrate how annotation and skimming techniques can be used in group reading exercises.
4. Mini Practice Session
• Give each student a question from a different section. They’ll solve it independently, then share their strategies and reasoning with the group.
5. Wrap-Up & Homework Assignment
• Summarize key points and answer any questions.
• Provide a small homework set for each student to practice at home and encourage them to reflect on their strategies.

Step-by-Step Plan:
Lesson 1: Group Strategy Deep Dive
• Cover comprehensive strategies for each SAT section.
• Assign study resources and outline the course schedule, emphasising the importance of teamwork and peer accountability.
Lessons 2–7: Sectional Practice
• Each lesson focuses on a single SAT section (Math, Reading, Writing), alternating sections each week.
• Split the class into pairs or small groups to solve section-specific questions, with one group presenting their answers and logic to the rest.
• Encourage students to compare methods and discuss why they selected certain answers.
Lesson 8: Full-Length Group Practice Test
• Conduct a timed practice test in a simulated exam environment.
• After the test, facilitate a group discussion to discuss immediate reactions, challenges, and strengths.
Lesson 9: Collaborative Error Analysis
• Review common errors from the practice test, having students work in pairs to identify why specific mistakes occurred.
• Each pair presents one solution and discusses how they might avoid similar mistakes in the future.
Lesson 10: Final Review & Study Plan
• Recap key strategies for each section, and ask students to share their most valuable takeaways.
• Provide each student with a personalized study plan based on their performance and progress during the course.
Homework & Practice:
• Assign 10 real SAT tests for students to complete between sessions, encouraging them to track their progress and note areas of difficulty.

A complete SAT preparation course designed to cover every aspect of the test. This course is aimed at students who need both extensive practice and in-depth strategy, with emphasis on peer support and collaborative learning.

Step-by-Step Plan:
Lessons 1–2: Diagnostic and Strategy Overview
• Start with a full-length diagnostic test to assess each student’s strengths and weaknesses.
• Review results collectively and outline core strategies for each SAT section.
Lessons 3–10: Section-Specific Drills
• Two dedicated sessions per section (Math, Reading, Writing) for intensive practice.
• Rotate partners each session so students can learn different approaches from their peers.
• After working independently on questions, students discuss their solutions in pairs, explaining their thinking and revisiting questions they found challenging.
Lessons 11–14: Group Practice Tests and Review
• Conduct full-length, timed practice tests to build familiarity and comfort with real test conditions.
• After each test, dedicate part of the lesson to reviewing questions as a group, focusing on difficult areas and error patterns.
Lessons 15–16: Personalized Skill Building:
• Address individual areas of struggle, such as advanced math topics or specific grammar rules in writing.
• Pair students to practice similar topics, sharing strategies to overcome their shared challenges.
Lessons 17–18: Motivation and Test-Day Preparation
• Conduct a group discussion on maintaining focus, confidence, and managing stress on test day.
• Review test-day logistics, including essential items, timing, and strategies for maintaining energy throughout the exam.
Lessons 19–20: Final Practice Test and Wrap-Up
• Administer a final, full-length test to simulate real SAT conditions.
• Conclude with a group session summarizing key strategies and sharing final tips for success.
Homework & Practice:
• Assign 20 real SAT tests over the course of 90 days, encouraging students to review each test independently and track their progress with personal notes.
